About El Faro
El Faro is nestled in the midst of friendly neighbors in an ideal location. Just miles away from the Pacific Ocean near the city of Rosarito, Baja California. You will get a taste of the culture and have a bird’s eye view of the lives of the Mexican people. YUGO missionaries will serve as your hosts in seeing how YUGO Ministries has become a bridge to the underprivileged.Rod & Cheryl Hoople, El Faro directors, desired to start a Missionary Care Center, a place where new missionaries could transition to the field and missionaries leaving the field could transition back to their home country.
El Faro has served in many ways offering "Vision Trips" to new missionaries or small teams. Their new focus is to help facilitate "Scouting Vision Trips" - providing Pastors & leaders wonderful hospitality and leadership in exploring the different opportunities that await your church or team. Maybe you aren't sure if YUGO is a fit for your church - why not spend 4 days with us and take some time to get to know us. El Faro is centrally located so you will have a chance to visit many of our different ministry centers.
