Interested in spending a month, a summer, or a year serving with a YUGO Ministry? Maybe you are looking for a change in the regular grind of life...maybe you have graduated from high school and not sure of what’s next...or maybe you are a student looking for an opportunity to be a part of something significant.Our INTERN PROGRAMS are geared toward young people in late high school - post-highschool - college ages. If you are wanting to spend a summer or part of a year serving on the missions field in Mexico, maybe an internship is for you! Interns serve at the Ministry centers, help with teams, participate in community outreaches, care for children, and learn to share the love of Jesus! Our intern programs include times of discipling, Bible studies, fellowship, and learning to live in community!
The following are the internship programs currently available:
EOC 6 Month Internship - (February - August) A time of both service and training at the Ensenada Outreach Center. You will help with camp duties, hosting teams, building houses, children's programs, orphanages, and so much more! The program also includes times of Bible study, teaching, mentorship, and discipling. You will live in community at the EOC base with interns from Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. EOC 3 Month Internship - (June - August) The summer is a busy time at the Ensenada Outreach Center and we would love to have you be a part of the activities here at the camp and in the field! As an intern, you'll participate in the various outreach projects - from helping build homes to playing with kids at a VBS! You'll also be a vital part of the camp life helping with various duties and responsibilities. You'll live at our EOC camp base with other staff, interns, and local youth. ROC 9 Week Internship - (June - August) The summer is a busy time at the Rosarito Outreach Center and we would love to have you be a part of the activities here at the camp and in the field! As an intern you'll participate in the various outreach projects - from helping build homes to playing with kids during our children's ministry time! You'll also be a vital part of the camp life helping with various duties and responsibilities. You'll live at our ROC ranch with other staff, interns, and local youth. It will also include some times of Bible studies, mentorship, discipling, and fellowship.
Intern Coordinator: Kristy
Grace Babies Home (2-12 months) - GBH is looking for young women to invest time in caring for orphan babies as an intern at GBH. An intern lives in the baby home and helps in the daily care and nurturing of the babies (feeding, changing, bathing). She assists in circle time and preschool activities, with cleaning and organization, and is counted on to pitch in with the night shift. Interns are mentored and discipled by our Intern Coordinator. They meet weekly to debrief, pray, and study God’s Word.

Grace Children's Home (2-12 months) - The GCH would love to have interns to help them with their ongoing program and ministry to the children in their care. Come help with the daily activities, running of the homes, and pour love into the lives of these young children! Be a part of the family at the GCH where you will not only give, but receive from the staff and leaders at the GCH.

INTERN APPLICATION PROCESS
- Pray. Entering the mission field, even for a short term period, as an intern, is a serious decision and committment! Spend time in prayer as you begin, as well as throughout the process.
- Fill out the "Application Request Form" below. This will begin your process and connect you with the right people.
- Wait to receive notice from the YUGO staff as to whether there are still openings. If your application request form is accepted, we will send you the application package.
- Fill out the YUGO Application. This will also include more details as well as references forms for you to distribute.
- Return completed application to the YUGO office.
- Wait to receive notice from the YUGO staff as to whether your application has been accepted.
- If accepted, you will receive further forms and information in order to prepare for your arrival on the mission field. You will also then begin raising support to cover your intern costs.
- Pray as you head into this amazing, life changing adventure that will be full of many rewards and challenges!
