Why to Give
Jesus teaches us all over Scripture that what He really wants is our hearts. In Matthew 22, Jesus actually told the pharisees "give to Caesar what is Caesar's" (the tax) "... and to God, what is God's" (their hearts).YUGO Ministries is all about relationships. We believe that being in healthy, life giving relationship with the Lord and with each other is VITAL to our daily lives. Our prayer is that in these relationships, God's people would be moved by the Spirit to partner with us, to make sustained ministry here possible.
One way Jesus knows HE has our hearts is when He has control of our finances. In Matthew 6, Jesus says "....where a man's treasure is, there his heart will be also." When we make sacrificial investments in the Kingdom of God, it deepens our relationship with Him as we are forced to rely on Him in a new way.
Each of our ministry centers and missionaries are funded directly by partnerships with God's people. The Apostle Paul's missionary work was funded in the same way. In 2 Corinthians he asked the Church to "send him" and in Romans he asks, "....how can (the world) believe in a God of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear unless someone preaches? And how can they GO unless they ARE SENT?" For God's work to be done here in Mexico we must have SENDERS.
Give out of relationship. Give out of your heart. Give out of obedience.
