has missionary staff ministering in several locations throughout
Mexico. YUGO has established 4 primary outreach centers. These
centers function as a base for the ministry operations in and near the
cities where they are located. Each outreach center is unique in ministry
operations, scheduling, staffing, pricing etc
Ministry teams are used to help start or jump start growth in "young"
Mexican churches. The teams work directly with local Mexican pastors
and church planters winning people to faith in Christ.
While working with YUGO on the mission field, you have an opportunity
to experience giving AND receiving love in an entirely different culture.
vision for the Grace Children's Home (GCH)
ministry is to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional,
and mental needs of homeless children, and
seniors. YUGO's unique ministry approach at GCH
is the focus and effort towards providing a "family"
environment for each child. We believe children
belong in a family situation. GCH exists to assist the
local church in the city of Tijuana to fulfill God's
commandment of caring for "the least of these".
(Mat. 25:40) GCH stands as a beacon of God's love
through group homes, foster care, and adoptions.
The Grace Children's Home ministry is expanding to
include GRACE BABIES' HOME and GRACE
COMMUNITY CENTER & CHURCH.
El Faro is nestled in the midst of friendly
neighbors in an ideal location. Just miles away from
the Pacific Ocean near the city of Rosarito, Baja
California. You will get a taste of the culture and have
a bird’s eye view of the lives of the Mexican people.
Rod & Cheryl Hoople (YUGO missionaries) will serve
as your hosts in seeing how YUGO Ministries has
become a bridge to the underprivileged.
One of our goals is to give you an opportunity to let
God capture your heart and see your part in
reaching out to the Mexican people through practical
deeds and a message of hope. Vision Trips provide
an opportunity for a real life experience with people
from a third world culture. Many who go on Vision
Trips return and are never the same again.
Mercy Ministry programs are based in locations
where full-time YUGO missionaries are an active,
supportive, and encouraging presence among the needy.
In a third-world country like Mexico, most people are
consumed with the daily struggles of survival. Many
struggle each day to obtain adequate food, housing, and
clothes for their family. In order to assist the Mexican
people in meeting some of their basic needs, YUGO has
formed a Mercy Ministries division.
YUGO's Mercy Ministries programs act as the feet, hands,
and heart of Christ to reach Mexican people in a very
practical, hands-on way.
believes preaching the Gospel includes both evangelism and discipleship. We want to proclaim the word of God to all people (Mark 16:15) and to present them complete (mature) in Christ. (Col. 1:28).
YUGO sponsors two Bible Institutes in Mexico. Grace Bible Institute is located in Tijuana, Mexico. The Logos Bible Institute in Mexicali, Mexico. Both schools provide full and part-time bible study programs.

considers the local church to be central to everything we do in Mexico. All ministries and projects are directly connected to local churches and their leadership. Our primary goal of reaching the people of Mexico with the Gospel includes partnership with local pastors. The aim is to help these pastors to bring many into their discipleship programs. YUGO is often involved in helping to start new churches and build new church buildings.
YUGO teams and missionaries have been involved in planting many new churches in Mexicali, Ensenada, and Tijuana. In addition, our people have been instrumental in restarting several churches that had all but died. Our conviction is that the New Testament method for making disciples is through the local church. That is why we encourage our donors to support local pastors and their churches. It is also the reason that our Literature Fund provides for study materials and Bibles for pastors and their ministries.
